give care, save lives
and empower game plans around the globe
Game Plan T1D, Inc. [501(c)3] is a federally recognized tax-deductible charity dedicated to improving access to care for diabetics. Given the number of successful diabetic athletes, it is unacceptable that this disease still robs individuals of their lives to this day. We’re here to change that.
The International Diabetes Federation estimates that between 80,000 and 100,000 children and thousands more adults, representing some 50 countries around the globe, do not have consistent access to the life-saving medication, insulin [‘Lack of Access to Insulin-Still A Global Problem’ by Mark Aktinson (2016)].

Meet Our Charitable Partners
Game Plan T1D, Inc. is proud to stand beside Insulin for Life USA and Life for a Child in the fight to improve access to diabetes care around the world. Insulin for Life USA believes the global problem of insulin access may be solved if diabetic patients, their health care providers, and the diabetes industry recover and distribute supplies that would otherwise go to waste to those in need. Insulin for Life has set 2019 donation goals of 125,000 mL of insulin and 1,000,000 blood glucose test strips while Life for a Child provides similar life-saving support to over 21,000 children in over 42 countries, led by the belief that no child should die of diabetes. Our organization’s athletic roots have taught us that ‘if you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together’. The job of Game Plan T1D, Inc. is to inspire diabetics around the globe to find their game plans. That vision will not work without the foundation of adequate access to diabetes care. We are using sport as a catalyst to raise funds and relying on our charitable sponsors to make sure every single dollar makes true impact.
